Dear Ebenezer Family, Grace, mercy, peace and love from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior! I pray that each of you are doing well. Please be encouraged and careful as we see and hear what is happening again in America regarding the COVID-19 global pandemic and the different variants. God is still good! He is still loving and gracious! However, humanity is still what we have been since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden fallen creation (creature with sinful features). Free will is what God has given to everyone. And free will is what we have to be responsible with, with good or bad. The use of our free will determines the consequences received. So, I say to you again, be encouraged and be careful. Reminder, this coming Saturday at 9:30am is the next Inreach Training Meeting. The goal is for planning to launch out (very wisely and carefully) to help our congregation and community. All those who have shown interest in this ministry will have a chance to help shape what our ministry will be and do. It is a Zoom Meeting on the recurring link provided. Link is provided below. Please save it for future meetings, trainings, Bible Studies and very soon, Sunday School classes. We are studying the Book of Joshua in our Wednesday night Bible Study. I invite all members and leaders to study this very important book that addresses Christian leadership and membership for today. Our workbook is “Journey Into Fearless Living.” Tonight we are studying chapter two. I appreciate those of you who have joined us on Zoom, Facebook Live and YouTube. Also, Zoom has a conference call feature. Our area is the Washington D. C. Zone. Our outreach ministry has given me information to share with our church family. Read the following and prayerfully consider what you can and will do: “Brother Frank has been in touch with Waterview (John Tyler). They are requesting donations of school supplies: Backpacks, calculators, pens, pencils, folders, loose leaf paper, binders and notebooks. This weekend is the tax free weekend. Please drop all supplies at the church no later than August 29, 2021. If you prefer, monetary donations are acceptable; supplies will be purchased. Thank you in advance for your support. Waterview has a new principal, Mr. Eric Jamison, and we are waiting to hear how he would like to engage us as volunteers. More to come!” Finally, continue to keep all of our bereaved family members in prayer. Those who have lost loved ones in the last 18 months or so. It takes time to get adjusted to great loss. Therefore, your prayers and encouragement would be appreciated, however God leads you to do so. May God‘s richest blessings be upon each one of you. The first family is praying for you. Please remember us in prayer also. Thanks. Peace and blessings to everyone! Pastor L. Hill, Jr. Grace, mercy, peace and love to you from the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
